A good wedding photographer should have plenty of experience under their belt. They should  have a keen eye for capturing those special moments. When searching for a  wedding photographer, take a look at their portfolio and make sure they have experience shooting weddings similar to yours or your like the way they capture and edit images and would like your wedding to be done in the same way. 

Style
Every photographer has their own unique style. Some may prefer a more traditional approach, while others may favour a more contemporary or photojournalistic style. When choosing a  wedding photographer, consider what style you prefer and make sure you pick one who’s style you like. 

Personality
Your wedding photographer will be with you throughout your big day, so it's important that you get along with them. You want a photographer who is professional, but also friendly and approachable. You will have at least video call meeting with your photographer or a pre wedding meeting in person before you book or before your big day. Your wedding day is one of the most important days of your life, so it's essential that your wedding photographer is professional and reliable. Look for a photographer who is responsive to your emails and phone calls and who has a clear contract outlining their services. Packages and Pricing

Wedding photography packages can vary greatly, so it's important to choose a photographer who offers a package that fits your budget and needs. When considering pricing, keep in mind that you're not just paying for the photographer's time on the day of your wedding, but also for their time spent editing and retouching your photos afterwards which can take weeks. I always advise booking a photographer whose wedding style you love even if it is a smaller package rather than spending any money at all on a photographer who’s style you don’t really like (because well thats just a total waste of Money) Some people just staring out or doing it on the side might offer you a full days wedding for £600 but do you even like their style, if not then £600 is a lot of money to waste on a load of wedding photos you hate. Over the years many people have told me they didn’t like their wedding photographs and it was always because they didn’t hire a professional. So much time and expenses go into running a professional wedding photography business. You will be paying over £1000 at least for a full days wedding for a professional At least, unless they are running a specific deal.

Reserve your date before it is too late

All professional wedding photographers will ask you to reserve your date with a deposit. If you really like the style of a wedding photographer and can see them capturing your day get the ball rolling and contact them to see if they are free. If they are reserve that date or someone else will and your search to find someone else’s style you like will have to start over again.
