A Pre-Wedding Shoot at Meldon Reservoir with Hollie Nicole Photography

I recently had the pleasure of shooting a pre-wedding session at the picturesque Meldon Reservoir in Dartmoor. The sun was shining brightly, adding summer vibes to the photographs. Having lived close to the area in Okehampton, I was well-acquainted with the location, which added a sense of familiarity and comfort to the shoot.

Exploring the stunning surroundings, we ventured to the refreshing freshwater pools where I used to spend time with my son when he was a toddler, I thought then it would make an excellent shoot location. The idyllic setting provided the perfect backdrop for capturing Harriet and Chris's love.

Harriet and Chris, soon-to-be-weds set to tie the knot this August at the homely yet exclusive Uphill Farm Walled Garden, decided to opt for a pre-wedding shoot. This additional session not only allowed them to acclimate to being in front of the cameras but also served as a wonderful opportunity for us to connect before their big day.

It brings me immense joy to share that Harriet and Chris were thrilled with the outcome of their pre-wedding photos. Their genuine happiness and anticipation for their upcoming wedding this summer are palpable, and I am honoured to be entrusted with capturing their special day through my lens.
