Ellen & Joe's Intimate North Devon Coast Wedding: A Day of Love, Light, and Golden Memories

Yes bring on the warmth! I know everyone Is moaning about the British summer but so far for me this year every wedding I have had has been good weather including this golden lit day of dreams!

Ellen and Joe's wedding was a heartfelt celebration of love, surrounded by their closest friends and family on the stunning North Devon coast. As a local photographer, capturing their special day was a joy, especially with the magnificent golden hour lighting that graced us at the beach. The day was filled with beautiful moments, laughter, and the serene backdrop of the coastline.

Ellen and Joe opted for a small, intimate wedding, focusing on the people who mean the most to them. The North Devon coast provided the perfect setting for their cozy celebration. The natural beauty of the area, with its rugged cliffs and expansive beaches, added a timeless charm to their special day.

The ceremony was a touching affair, held in a quaint local venue Ocean Kave that perfectly suited the couple's relaxed and personal style. Surrounded by their nearest and dearest, Ellen and Joe exchanged vows with the sound of the waves gently crashing in the background. Ideal Couple

This for me has nothing to do with the way the couple look or styling or anything like that. Rather Ellen came to me and expressed it was much more important to her to get people hugging and having a good time rather than spending lots of time on posed shots. This suites my style and approach thus making us a perfect match. More than ever where some couples who are heavily influences by tick tock and intagram and more concerned with the way things look rather than relaxing and enjoying themselves, I can tell you after 10 years shooting weddings…THE BEST pictures are the ones where you do not try and control everything and enjoy your day as they are the most authentic representation of yourself!
