Darcey & Warren Got married at Holy Trinity Church in Ilfracombe on the 13th May. I arrived at the church early, as soon as I got there a man struck up a conversation with me about a gravestone in the churchyard where a man had died on the titanic. He proceeded to take me to said gravestone where it stated the fact of his death on the famous ship on his headstone. This was such an interesting start to the day and such a nice thing for the guy (whose name I have forgotten) to do. I love chatting to random people Ive never met before.

I was met my a couple of the wedding guests who where setting up various things in the church. We had been blessed by amazing sunshine on this day which was streaming through the windows of the church.

I had a quick hello with Warren when he arrived and set about capturing some natural shots of the guests arriving at church. Darcy arrived looking relaxed and so beautiful. Her lovely mum walked her down the aisle. After Church we proceeded up to the land where Darcy & Warren had set up a marquee where they farm sheep and Cattle.

Darcy was so laid back but mentioned one image she would like to recreate (she had already showed me this at the pre wedding chat). The Shot consisted of hay bails set up almost like a tired cake and she wanted to try and get the wedding party to pose on it. This worked well and totally authentic to them being farmers, I loved the result. What a creative idea!

As the light got lower and while the delicious hog roast was being served up we escaped for a few couples shots just over the field towards the sea. The light was beautiful. How amazing to have that view as your own and to have your own wedding on it one side overlooking the Tors and the other overlooking Ilfracome town. A view you would never get unless you knew these fields like this couple do! So personal to them! Darcy & Warren were answering my probably daft questions about farming and cattle while we were having photos taken (I am learning a lot about farms since moving to Devon)

We finished golden hour back towards the marquee where Warren rounded up the sheep with his quad bike so we could get them in a picture!

Lastly we had cake cutting and the first dance!
